3 days

 Building simulations to model cropping and grazing in a mixed farming system.

Three day course

Day 1: is for new-comers where the software will be explained and users will get some hands on experience with mixed farm modelling.
Days 2 and 3: are for building familiarity with designing mixed farming systems and completing individual’s own designs. Learn more of the advanced features and use some of the new features of AusFarm. Discuss design issues with the group and learn how to solve some of those sticky questions. Advanced users who have already been trained are welcome to participate for any of days 2 or 3 where they can be offered assistance for solving any issues.

Experience with GrassGro or APSIM is helpful.

Cost: $250 per day
